# How can I add basic game stats to a game event?
## Basic game stats can be added from the Match Stats section of a game event.
#### **Games created through the Wyscout integration**
If the game event was created through Wyscout, we highly suggest **you to not enter the stats manually**. Wyscout provides the match information and updates the event through the integration.
If the stats are missing or outdated, the event may need to be re-synced. If Wyscout has not yet made the information available through its API, you will need to wait and try again later.

#### **Games created manually**
If you created the game event manually, follow these steps to add the basic stats:
1. Go to **Manager → Planning**.
2. Select the **game event** you want to update.
3. Open the **Match Stats** section.
4. Click **Edit**.
5. Enter the basic game stats in the relevant fields (minutes played, when the player go in, when the player go out, number of assists done, number of goals scored and tracked of yellow/red cards).
6. Click **Save**.
