Setting Up Themes and Goals for Your Team

Before creating your drill library, it's essential to configure your team’s themes and goals. To do this, navigate to Settings > Team > Metrics. Here, under Team Metrics, you can define key information that will be displayed on each drill card, including drill themes, as well as tactical, physical, and technical goals.

To set them up, simply click Edit, open the theme section, and manage the available themes. You can activate, deactivate, or create custom values as needed.

The same process applies to tactical, physical, and technical goals.

These configurations are crucial for different departments:

  • Fitness coaches can track drills based on goals like endurance and strength.
  • Medical and technical departments can monitor drills according to tactical and physical objectives.

Once everything is set up, click Save to apply the changes.

Creating Your Drill Library

In the Manager section, users can create a personalized drill library. This library allows tracking not only on-field drills but also gym-based exercises and specialized technical, tactical, and physical drills.

To create a new drill:

  1. Click Add New and fill in the required details.
  2. Define key attributes such as title, theme, tactical, technical, and physical goals (previously set up in team metrics).
  3. Specify additional details like age group, pitch size, number of players, duration, rules, coaching points, and description.
  4. Manage sharing settings: Only users selected in the Share with list will be able to view the drill in both the Drill and Planning sections.
  5. Upload any relevant files, including images, videos, or documents.

In the next step, you will also be able to draw custom diagrams for your drills.

Drawing Drills

To create a visual representation of your drills, go to Drill Canvas. Here, you can either edit existing drawings or create a new canvas from scratch.

Steps to create a drill drawing:

  1. Add a title and choose a background (e.g., a football field).
  2. Use available tools such as shapes, drill equipment, players (jersey or dot versions), and text options (letters/numbers) to customize your diagram.
  3. Move and adjust elements freely to create the desired setup.
  4. Once finished, you can:
    • Save the drawing.
    • Download it as an image.
    • Link it to an existing drill, so it appears directly on the drill card.

By following these steps, you can create a structured drill library with both detailed descriptions and visual diagrams for easy reference.
