[Settings](https://support.iterpro.com/en/guide/account-set-up-and-other?hsLang=en#settings) # Why can't I save my active metrics in Settings? ## This article explains that, sometimes, the user cannot save the active metrics in Setting, displaying error icon(s) and an error notification, because the right number of active metrics have not been set. Sometimes may happen that, when a new user is created or an already existing user wants to change his/her active metrics (performance, tactical, test, or any other metric), from Settings - Metrics, the system displays some error icon(s) within the tab and an error notification is showwn when clicking on SAVE, as in the screenshot below:   ![Screenshot 2024-11-25 alle 16.28.31](https://support.iterpro.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202024-11-25%20alle%2016.28.31.png?width=670&height=290&name=Screenshot%202024-11-25%20alle%2016.28.31.png) Such alerts mean that the user has not set the right number of active metrics for the highlighted section. Each area has a minimum and maximum number of active metrics that must be set, so the user must align the setting based on such criteria.
