Why do I display no values (or wrong values) of the Workload Score once I imported the GPS data?

This article explains why the Workload score values may be wrong (too high) or zero once the GPS data are imported for a specific game or training session.

Importing the GPS data, if you move to Workload analysis and the values display are zero or wrong (most of the times very high), it mean that or the thresholds are not set, or that the Default metrics are not defined, or the previous imported data have not been recalculated after I edited the Default metrics or their thresholds.

Therefore, when I display some wrong behaviour within Workload analysis, we need always to chek if:

  • You define the Default metrics in Settings - team - Integrations - Default metrics
  • You set the thresholds for the Default metrics in Players - My Team - Player's card - Thresholds - GPS
  • You recalculate the Game or training session already imported after you perform the previous operations, from Improt data.

It's always important to highlight that once the user has saved the Thresholds in Players - My Team - Thresholds, or define the Default metrics in Settings, the system does not recalculate the training and game sessions that have been uploaded previously, which means that the values displayed in Workload Analysis will not change. Yiu need to recalculate the sessions manually.

It's very easy, you just need to follow the steps below:

  • Click on the Import data icon in the top-right corner of the screen

  • Select the sessions you want to recalculate (note that there's also the "select all" option, but you are checking ONLY the session displayed on the current page, so in case you want to select all the sessions uploaded, you need to do this operation page by page, once the data have been recalculated)

  • Click on the icon "Recalculate the Default metrics"

  • Note that once the operation has been done,  for the selected session(s) the Default metrics will be recalculated, as well as the Thresholds, which means that the Workload Analysis data will be updated
