8.1 How to use the Social Wall

FEATURE DESCRIPTION

 

The Social Wall allows users to create and display posts, just like a social network. This section is accessible from the Player App, Coach App, and Director App.

 

Permissions and User Roles

An admin user must first grant permissions for the Social Wall. Users can either have a view-only mode or be allowed to create and manage posts.

Users with posting permissions will see an "Add New Post" button. They can:

  • Create, edit, and delete posts.
  • Share posts on behalf of other users (hence, it is recommended to grant this permission only to a limited number of users for content control).

 

Creating a Post

To create a post, users can:

  1. Select a publish date and time (posts can be scheduled for future publication).
  2. Choose the team and users/players who will be able to see the post.
  3. Upload a video or picture.
  4. Add a caption.
  5. Click Save to publish or schedule the post.

 

Interacting with Posts

Once a post is published:

  • Users can like it directly.
  • Clicking on the post opens a preview, where users can write comments.

 

Notifications

To stay updated on Social Wall activity, users can enable notifications by going to Settings and activating the relevant option.
