How do I send a new Welcome email for the PlayerApp when the token has expired?

Resending a Welcome email when the token expires.

Introduction

When a PlayerApp user receives a Welcome email, they find a link to set their password for signing in. This link expires after 72 hours. If this happens, an admin user must send a new Welcome email by following the steps below.  Such operation can be done also in case there's an issue with the Reset Password email.

Steps to resend a Welcome email:

  • Go to Administration - Squad.

  • Click on PlayerApp list users (only admin users can access this screen).

  • Deselect ONLY the player(s) whose token has expired.

  • Click on Confirm.

    • The unselected player(s) now has no access to the PlayerApp.

  • Click again on PlayerApp list users.

  • Select ONLY the player(s) to whom you want to send a new Welcome email.

    • Ensure that players who still need to use PlayerApp are not deselected.

  • Click on Confirm.

    • The player receives a new Welcome email at their registered email address.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the email address is correctly saved in the system.

  • Uppercase and lowercase letters matter in credentials.
